Oscar Kristofferson Park Plan

Project Overview

The City of Baxter is working with Widseth to develop an update to the 2015 Oscar Kristofferson Park Plan. This vital hub for public recreation is located just north of Highway 210 near the Warrior Early Learning Center on the west side of Baxter. The park hosts many residents and visitors throughout the year and is a staple for youth sports. The map below shows the park boundary.

Project Updates

The goals for this portion of our long-term planning effort are:

  1. Confirm the goals and expectations for the park with your public comments.
  2. Review parking capacity for current and future proposed amenities.
  3. Discuss and prioritize future park amenities using the concepts below to guide this feedback.

Next Steps:

Public Open House @ Baxter City Hall February 29th 6-8pm. This will be an open format with printed park concepts to offer feedback directly to our team. In addition there will be a survey we will be asking attendees to fill out. If you are not able to attend in person we will be adding the survey to the website soon. Your feedback is a vital next step in providing a community driven final masterplan.

Your feedback will be summarized and be included as part of the amended final masterplan. The options shown below are meant to be fluid and we understand not all possible improvements are shown.

Please review the concepts and provide feedback via the corresponding forms. Thanks for your valuable input!
