This annual honor celebrates professionals who have made significant impacts in their industries and communities, and Dustin’s achievements exemplify this recognition.
Dustin joined Widseth in 2012 as an Engineer in Training and quickly advanced to become a licensed engineer in Minnesota and North Dakota, a shareholder, and a project manager trusted with complex, high-profile projects. Known for his professionalism and steady engineering judgment, he consistently delivers high-quality work with a strong focus on client needs.
He serves as the consulting engineer for Pembina, North Dakota, and several northwest Minnesota communities, leading work in planning, design, assessments, and project management. His experience ranges from water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation systems to schools, campground expansions, and commercial and industrial developments. He has also collaborated with the Minnesota and North Dakota Departments of Transportation on major infrastructure projects.
Dustin is also committed to developing future engineers and giving back to his community. Through internship mentoring, career fairs, classroom presentations, and job-shadowing opportunities, he helps strengthen the firm’s talent pipeline, and he actively supports local charities through regional golf events benefiting Valley Senior Living, Development Homes, and scholarships at Northland Community and Technical College.
