Earlier this month we had the pleasure of welcoming 37 ninth-grade students into our office for a few hours as part of an Industry Day experience.
During their visit, students rotated through a variety of stations to learn about the different careers that make up our team. They explored hands-on activities in land surveying and got an inside look at civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, seeing how these disciplines work together on real projects.

Students also visited our architecture and interior design teams to learn how spaces are thoughtfully planned and designed. In addition, they were introduced to GIS and environmental services, where they discovered how mapping, data, and environmental considerations play a role in development.

To round out the experience, students connected with members of our marketing, human resources, and information technology teams, gaining insight into the many roles that support our work behind the scenes.
We enjoyed the opportunity to share what we do with such a curious and engaged group, and we hope the experience gave them a better understanding of the many career paths available to them.
