Approximately $70 million is anticipated to be available for projects through the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF) through the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR). Projects must meet the constitutional aim to protect, conserve, preserve, and enhance Minnesota’s air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources.

A Request for Proposal is open to all who want to apply and who have demonstrated fiscal capacity.

Deadline for submission is Thursday May 26, 2022.

Details and requirements can be found in the 2023 ENRTF Request for Proposal.
Included in the Funding Priorities for 2023:

  • Expanding outdoor recreational opportunities through additions and connections to state and regional parks and trails.
  • The LCCMR encourages proposals under $200,000, especially from local governmental units.
