Widseth is proud to have partnered with Central Lakes College (CLC) in Brainerd, Minnesota, on the remodel and expansion of its dental clinic and educational facilities—an important step in addressing the growing shortage of dental professionals in the region and across the state.

CLC has offered a dental assisting program since 1964. Director of the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs Katie Thalberg explains that the project was the result of a multi-year effort focused on developing curriculum, creating remodel plans, and recruiting students and faculty. Support in the form of grants came from Delta Dental, the State of Minnesota, and Bremer Bank.

Widseth worked closely with the CLC team throughout the design process. The completed project has made it possible for CLC to launch its new dental hygiene program with 15 students and expand the dental assisting program from 24 to 30 students.
