Widseth is pleased to announce recent additions to their architectural team with the hires of Mike Juhl, a licensed architect, and Brad Schonborn, a project manager.

Mike Juhl has over 30 years of experience on projects throughout Minnesota, Mike brings extensive expertise in designing higher education, recreational, multi-family residential, and arts and cultural facilities.

Mike is a licensed architect in Minnesota, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and earned his Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University.

His experience includes projects such as the SCSU Husky Stadium and Student Recreation Center in St. Cloud, River’s Edge Convention Center and parking ramp in St. Cloud, the Church of St. Mary in Melrose, and Grandview Estates apartments in Sartell.

We’re happy to have Mike enhance our architectural team here in Alexandria. His diverse project experience will play a key role in helping our team deliver comprehensive architecture and engineering solutions for our clients here in Alexandria and across the state.

Brad Schonborn has than 22 years of experience managing architectural projects across the Midwest and internationally. Brad brings exceptional expertise in project management and design for K-12 education, government and commercial offices, and arts and cultural facilities.

Brad is a graduate of Greater Mankato Growth’s Leadership Institute and is a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). He holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota and is nearing completion of earning his professional licensure as an architect.

Brad’s portfolio includes notable local projects such as Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial Secondary School, Mankato West High School cafeteria renovations, Trinity Lutheran Church Additions & Renovations in Owatonna, and the Nicollet County Health & Human Services building in St. Peter.
