Congratulations Garrison and Cohasset Fire Departments! Both departments were awarded Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Garrison will purchase an automatic chest compression device and 12 Automated External Defibrillators with $44,350 from AFG! Cohasset was awarded $185,870 from AFG to purchase 20 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units!
The goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and other organizations.
