At Widseth, finding the next generation of talent starts well before summer arrives. This fall, team members from several of our offices attended three major college and university career expos across the region, connecting with students interested in architecture, engineering, surveying, environmental services, marketing, information technology, and more.
Our recruiting efforts included participation at the Minnesota State University, Mankato Career & Internship Expo, the University of Minnesota Duluth Business Career Fair, and the University of North Dakota Career Expo.
These career expos play an important role in building our internship program, which welcomed 25 new and returning interns across nine disciplines in 2026, contributing to a summer workforce of more than 300 employees. Our interns gain hands-on experience working alongside our professionals on real projects while exploring career paths in architecture, engineering, surveying, aerial mapping, marketing, information technology, and other disciplines.
We enjoyed meeting so many talented students this fall and look forward to welcoming the next class of Widseth interns in 2027.
