Construction is officially underway on Palmer Apartments, a new 45-unit multi-family development that will expand housing options in Grand Forks. Located in the Kings View development near King’s Walk Golf Course, the project is designed to provide modern, comfortable living while complementing the character of the surrounding community. The three-story apartment building features a balanced mix of nine one-bedroom and 36 two-bedroom units.
The project includes several amenities that will enhance everyday life for residents, including a community room, fitness room, on-site management offices, dedicated mail and package delivery space, and secure underground parking. Outdoor patio areas with seating and grilling stations will provide welcoming places to gather, relax, and connect with neighbors.

Widseth is working with property management company Dakota Commercial and Community Contractors Inc. to bring the project to life. We’re providing architectural and engineering services and will remain involved during construction.
The Palmer Apartments development represents another investment in the city’s continued growth while helping meet the demand for high-quality housing in the region. The project is anticipated to be complete in 2027.
