Community leaders, project partners, and members of the Lakes Area business community gathered on October 5 to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Breezy Point Social Club, a centerpiece of the new Ace Valley golf course at Breezy Point Resort.
Widseth is partnering with Hy-Tec Construction, which is leading the design-build effort for the project. As part of the team, Widseth is providing architectural and structural engineering services for the two-story clubhouse that will serve as the social hub of the new development.
A New Kind of Golf Experience
Designed to be unlike anything else in golf, Ace Valley reimagines the traditional golf course experience. The one-of-a-kind destination will feature 12 lighted par-3 holes, blending natural and artificial turf to create a unique playing experience inspired by some of the world’s most iconic golf courses.
The course will incorporate template greens influenced by renowned destinations throughout Scotland, Ireland, and England. Additional features include a challenging island green with a progressive jackpot, an elevated rooftop tee shot, an 18-hole putting course, and nighttime golf that extends play well after sunset.
More than a golf course, Ace Valley is envisioned as a gathering place where recreation, entertainment, and hospitality come together.

Social Connection at the Center
At the heart of the development will be the Breezy Point Social Club, a two-story clubhouse designed to support the social and entertainment components of the Ace Valley experience.
The facility will feature a bar, social dining spaces, a golf shop, and flexible gathering areas where guests can connect before, during, and after their rounds. The clubhouse is intended to create an inviting environment for golfers, resort guests, and community members alike.
Widseth is proud to be working alongside Hy-Tec to bring this unique facility to life.

Building the Future of Recreation in the Lakes Area
Construction is now underway, with project partners working toward a mid-summer 2027 opening. Ace Valley and the Breezy Point Social Club aim to redefine golf entertainment in Minnesota. The groundbreaking marks an important milestone for a project that is expected to enhance the area’s tourism offerings while creating a new destination for residents and visitors.
